Dream winners foundation

Dream Winners Foundation,We are a youth-led, community-driven organization committed to creating sustainable impact by empowering individuals—especially youth and marginalized groups—through a multi-thematic approach. Our core belief is that everyone has potential, and with the right support and environment, that potential can transform lives and entire communities. Here’s a breakdown of our key pillars and what each entails: 1. Love Without Reason Initiative This is our humanitarian and compassion-driven arm. Through this initiative, we: Conduct hospital, prison, and children’s home visits to offer emotional support, donations, and dignity. Provide care and food supplies to the elderly and other vulnerable members of society. Organize charity events and drives aimed at bringing hope to those society often forgets. 2. Angaza Initiative This is our talent nurturing and creative empowerment program. We believe talent is a tool for expression, healing, and transformation. Through Angaza, we: Identify and mentor young people in modeling, acting, music, dance, poetry, and other artistic areas. Provide platforms for performance and exposure, enabling youth to turn talent into career pathways. Use creative arts as a non-violent method of expression and storytelling. 3. Soma Initiative This is our education and mentorship arm, focusing on vulnerable learners. Through this initiative, we: Support school fees, supplies, and uniform needs for children from low-income backgrounds. Organize mentorship programs, academic clinics, and life skills training. Promote literacy and a reading culture as keys to breaking the poverty cycle. 4. CART Initiative (Conservation, Agriculture, Reforestation, and Transformation) This initiative promotes environmental sustainability and smart agriculture, and we: Conduct tree-planting drives, clean-up exercises, and climate action campaigns. Train youth and communities in climate-smart agriculture, urban farming, and sustainable livelihoods. Distribute seedlings and empower communities to grow their own food sustainably. 5. Sema Initiative This is our advocacy and awareness platform, using art as the main tool for engagement. We focus on: Human rights, mental health, gender equality, GBV, and youth policy awareness. Hosting dialogues, performances, and community forums to amplify underrepresented voices. Empowering youth to be changemakers through storytelling and advocacy. 6. Jijenge Initiative "Jijenge" means build yourself, and this pillar focuses on personal and economic empowerment. We: Empower young mothers, teen parents, the boy child, and the girl child through tailored programs. Offer skills training, job readiness support, and entrepreneurship development. Provide psychosocial support and safe spaces for youth to grow holistically. In short, Dream Winners Foundation is not just a CBO—it’s a movement of young people who believe in being proactive, creative, and compassionate in driving change. We use art, education, agriculture, and advocacy as tools to empower the mind, touch the heart, and build the future. I’d be happy to share more or invite you to one of our activities if you're interested! Warm regards, Steve BIKO Founder & Chairman Dream Winners Foundation

Need Creation Rationale

Dream Winners Foundation is a youth-led organization empowering communities through art, education, empowerment, and environmental conservation. To effectively implement our six thematic pillars, we seek $10,000 in funding.

  1.  Love Without Reason Initiative ($2,000) – Charity visits to children’s homes, prisons, and elderly centers, providing food, clothing, and care support.
  2. Angaza Initiative ($1,500) – Talent nurturing through modeling, dance, and acting workshops, offering training space, costumes, and mentorship.
  3. CART Initiative ($1,500) – Environmental conservation and smart agriculture projects, including tree planting, urban farming, and youth eco-training.
  4. Sema Initiative ($1,000) – Advocacy through art to address issues such as gender-based violence, mental health, and human rights awareness campaigns.
  5. Soma Initiative ($2,500) – Education support for vulnerable children, provision of school supplies, mentorship programs, and partial scholarship support.
  6. Jijenge Initiative ($1,500) – Empowering young mothers, boys, and girls with skills training, entrepreneurship workshops, and empowerment forums.

The remaining $1,000 will support coordination, outreach logistics, and communication to ensure sustainability and accountability. This funding will directly impact hundreds of youth, children, and families in underserved communities. It will help reduce school dropouts, promote responsible talent use, enhance environmental care, and empower young people to become agents of change. By investing in Dream Winners Foundation, you are investing in sustainable transformation, building opportunities, and nurturing future leaders.
