ASEW Offers Free Website Design to African Social Entrepreneurs

The African Social Enterprise Workshop (ASEW), in its bid to support African Social Entrepreneurs, announced a free website design offer to selected group members. The offer was to help participating social entrepreneurs have an online presence to showcase their activities and to better build and engage with their digital audience.

Following an informal review process, three social entrepreneurs were selected to benefit from this offer and they include Her Fund, Save The Cervix Initiative and Volunteers in Progress.

Her Fund provides a fintech platform for women-led micro enterprises in Ghana to build capital and develop their businesses. It provides access to young and women entrepreneurs to save money and access credit at low interest rate.

Save The Cervix Initiative was birthed with the intention to educate women and girls, boys and men about cervical cancer. The website will strategically reach out to people for awareness that spurs individuals to take action about their health particularly to prevent cervical cancer.

Volunteers in Progress prepares professionals for result-oriented volunteering through capacity development. It also supports organizations by providing them with the right talent for volunteer programmes to help them impact their host communities positively.

ASEW is privileged to work with a team of three volunteer professional website designers on this project. These professionals are in the process of designing websites for the shortlisted social entrepreneurs at no cost to the latter. The three volunteer website developers are:
