By

We are thrilled to announce that our summit is just a few days away! We are excited to share that our event has gained the support of some incredible partners, with the following partners joining in the last month:

1. Social Enterprise Ethiopia: Social Enterprise Ethiopia (SEE), founded in 2018, is the national body for the social enterprise sector. A not-for-profit membership organization, it aims to build a strong and inclusive social enterprise ecosystem. It has 250+ members. SEE believes that promoting critical thinking and thought leadership will create change-making social enterprises. SEE supports the delivery of innovative and impactful solutions to address societal, environmental, and economic problems. Collectively, SEE has positively impacted the lives of 15.8 million Ethiopians. SEE offers different experience-sharing, awareness-raising, and capacity-building platforms to its members and the public. SEE’s platform provides support for existing and new innovative social enterprises that aim to deliver social value as they grow profitably. Our motto is “We Impact We Profit!”

2. MENA-can: MENA-can inspires and supports individuals, media and civil society organizations to become strong, impactful, local actors that contribute to better, more inclusive, and democratic societies.

3. Peoples and planet first: Around the world there is a growing movement of businesses that prioritize people and planet over private profit. They include social enterprises, cooperatives, fair trade enterprises, social businesses and others.  People and Planet First is a banner that unites this global movement. Launched in 2023 and stewarded by the Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF), we work with partners around the world to provide a verification system, access to resources and collective advocacy.

4. Furst Spark: Furst Spark is a content creation and marketing startup that caters to early-stage startups. Their mission is to help founders build products and strategies through a variety of content channels, including articles, emails, social media, webinars, product demos, and presentations. They offer high-end designs, videos, texts, and illustrations to help clients reach their target audience effectively. If you’re looking to drive growth in sales and new markets with compelling, conversion-oriented content, Furst Spark is the place to be!

5. Africa Research Excellence Fund: The Africa Research Excellence Fund (AREF) was founded in 2015 to improve the quality and impact of health research in Africa. We support a community of postdoctoral African health researchers at an early, vulnerable stage of their careers by providing the research funding, skills training, leadership development programs, and mentoring opportunities they need to build successful careers and advance health research. Over the last 9 years, our programs have benefited more than 781 researchers from 41 countries across the continent, a number that continues to grow. Through our diverse range of programs, we are ultimately building an inspired, committed, and talented community of researchers in Africa leading world-class research and participating equitably in international research endeavors for health and wellbeing.

6. African Diaspora Network: Established in 2010, the African Diaspora Network (ADN) is a Silicon Valley-based nonprofit committed to fostering social impact through entrepreneurship and economic development in Africa and diaspora communities. We convene Africans from the continent, the diaspora, and allies of Africa to create an ecosystem that nurtures their entrepreneurial spirit and mobilizes intellectual and financial resources toward a prosperous future for Africa and diaspora communities. Through strategic partnerships and innovative programs, we serve as a catalyst for positive change and growth in Africa and diaspora communities worldwide. As a leading global network, ADN is dedicated to advancing diaspora engagement through our strategic priorities:

. Knowledge Exchange and Human Capital Development: As a renowned hub for knowledge sharing, ADN’s convenings feature industry experts and our programs activate our global network to share their time and expertise as mentors and partners.

. Public-Private Partnerships: Through our work, ADN facilitates ample opportunities for connections and collaborations that often lead to impactful partnerships for our network and those they serve.

. Entrepreneurship and Social Impact: Our enterprise accelerators support changemakers leading nonprofit and for-profit businesses on the continent and in the diaspora.

. Beyond Remittances: ADN elevates and supports the work that African diasporans are doing to enable investments and philanthropy for sustainable development and transformational impact.

Their contributions will undoubtedly make our summit a power-packed experience.
