Our Top 5 Finalists (in no particular order):
1. Finalist 1: Adama Happiness Ojochegbe
Email: adamachegbe@gmail.com
Organization name: Happi Leather Craft and Tote
Role: Founder
Company biography: The journey of Happi Leather Craft and Totes began during a challenging period in my life when I was unemployed and struggling to make ends meet. This difficult situation inspired me to rekindle my passion for leather crafting and turn it into a viable business. What started as a small initiative to create bespoke leather bags has now evolved into a broader mission to promote sustainability through our recently introduced Happi Tote project. The idea behind Happi Tote emerged from a growing awareness of the environmental damage caused by nylon and fabric waste. Witnessing the widespread littering of these materials and their harmful effects on the environment, I felt compelled to find a creative solution. Our concept of upcycling waste materials into stylish and functional tote bags resonated with my belief that nothing should go to waste and that every material can be transformed into something valuable. This philosophy has been the cornerstone of our brand, driving our efforts to make a positive impact on both the environment and the community.

Since 2017, ROHSI has provided direct healthcare opportunities to over 4,000 underserved Nigerians through health outreaches that include health education, medical screening, free medication, and follow-up care. We have also reached thousands of people through our website and social media handles, where we provide up-to-date information on non-communicable diseases (NCDs), with an emphasis on hypertension and diabetes.
