Zinc Announces ASEW Convener As A Visiting Fellow

We are excited to announce that the African Social Enterprise Workshop convener, Dr Adeyemi Adelekan, has joined Zinc as a Visiting Fellow for their next Venture Builder program focused on the environment! Zinc’s Visiting Fellows consist of experts and advisors from business, academia, design, technology and the public sector.

As a Visiting Fellow, Adeyemi will be a part of the network that supports individuals passionate about developing sustainable business ventures aimed at tackling big societal challenges. The Zinc Venture Builder program is a full-time, 12-month program that exists to build brand new, mission-driven companies that tackle the biggest social challenges. Together with other fellows, Adeyemi will be supporting a cohort of 70 talented individuals that will be recruited into this program.

Adeyemi is a Research Associate at the University of Manchester (UoM) and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Understanding Sustainable Prosperity (CUSP). He researches social enterprises, sustainable business models, circular economy and behaviour change, exploring Global North and South contexts.
